Week One Case

As stated before in my previous posting, my industry is very successful and accounts for a great percentage in DVD sales, and subscriptions like Netflix. My industry is ever evolving from Blu-Ray technology to the latest 3D televisions. The home entertainment industry is, in my opinion, incapable of going downstream, or ever losing its momentum when it comes to sales, or how well its doing as a whole. For my sector in particular, which is the customization area; it could never be better. The option to customize home entertainment devices have been one of the greatest add-ons in the last ten years. They way my company makes money is we deal directly with the client and receive all payments directly from them.
A few of the leading sites in my industry who are also my competitors are: Leon Speakers, and Salk Signature Sound. My target audience based on information from Quantcast.com, and Alexa.com would be described as:
1. Males
2. 35-49
3. Asians
4. No kids
5. Income over $100,000
6. Grad. School

Keywords utilized by consumers to search for a product/service like mines:
1. home entertainment
2. customization
3. Ice Design
4. custom graphics
5. custom designs home entertainment

Data/Support for my keywords came from Alexa.com. Alexa.com supplied keywords consumers in my industry typically use when searching for products/services in this industry. Also based on searching the web with these keywords I was able to see first hand what my target audience can see and am sure these keywords are effective.
